I am a final-year Ph.D. candidate in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Southern California (USC). I am a member of the IMMERSE (Intelligent Mobile, Multimedia, and nEtwoRking SystEm) Lab at USC ECE and I am very honored to be advised by Prof. Feng Qian. I also work closely with Prof. Bo Han. Before coming to USC, I spent the first four years of my Ph.D. at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (UMN). I got my bachelor degree from Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing in 2019.

I am broadly interested in Multimedia Systems, ML for Systems, Mobile Systems, and Networking. My current research focuses on designing and optimizing emerging networked multimedia systems for, including but not limited to, immersive content (360 Video, AR/VR/MR, Volumetric Video) delivery, video conferencing, and image co-editing.

May 08, 2024	I passed my Ph.D. qualifying exam at USC.
May 03, 2024	Paper on dissecting carrier aggregation in 5G networks led by Wei was accepted at SIGCOMM’24.
Apr 15, 2024	I was invited to serve as a reviewer for ACM Multimedia 2024 in Melbourne, Australia.
Apr 14, 2024	I will join Adobe Research in San Jose, CA as a Research Scientist/Engineer Intern this summer, mentored by Dr. Stefano Petrangeli.
Mar 28, 2024	I was invited to serve on the TPC for the Emerging Multimedia Systems (EMS) workshop, co-located with SIGCOMM 2024 in Sydney.
Feb 23, 2024	I was invited to serve on the External Review Committee (ERC) for the 2024 USENIX ATC Conference in Santa Clara, CA, USA.
Jan 20, 2024	Paper on smart band switching in 5G/xG networks led by Ahmad was accepted at HotMobile’24.
Nov 21, 2023	Paper on multi-user mobile volumetric video streaming led by Yu was conditionally accepted at MobiCom’24.
Oct 30, 2023	I was invited to serve on the Organisation Committees as the Publicity and Social Media Chairs for ACM IoT Conference in Oulu, Finland, 2024.
