Anlan Zhang
I am a Research Scientist at Adobe Research. I received Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Southern California (USC), where I was advised by Prof. Feng Qian. Prior to USC, I spent the first four years of my Ph.D. at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (UMN) and received a M.S. degree in Computer Science. I got my B.E. degree from Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing in 2019.
My focus is agentic systems at Adobe Research. I am also broadly interested in Multimedia Systems, ML for Systems, Mobile Systems, and Networking. My Ph.D. research focuses on designing and optimizing emerging networked multimedia systems for, including but not limited to, immersive content (360 Video, AR/VR/MR, Volumetric Video) delivery, video conferencing, and image co-editing.
